Patti and her son, Eric Bosch, live in Sheboygan Falls. Patti and Eric checked out HearthStone and its events to broaden Eric’s social circles, “Mom, I want to go out and meet new people!” Patti is semi-retired after 34 years of service with Lakeshore Technical College. She has an extensive background in designing and providing career development and educational opportunities and programming for special population students. She represents HearthStone on the Family Caregivers Coalition in Sheboygan County Steering Committee.

Daphne comes to HearthStone after being a Special Education teacher at the high school and middle school levels for over 25 years. Serving on the Board of Directors for HearthStone provides an opportunity to give back to the community, while fulfilling the desire to spend time with, and enrich the lives of, people with disabilities.

Kris currently volunteers at RCS Empowers, and was a teacher for 34 years. She always looks for ways to help children with disabilities succeed in the classroom, and now with their careers. Kris is the mother of a daughter with a cognitive disability, who is attending RCS and works part-time in the community.

Alex Curry

Alex's background with individuals with disabilities comes through his wife and her brothers. She has shown him how to love people in differing situations and life journeys than himself and shown him a whole new world. Alex has a background in accounting, finance, and IT, which help in his role as Treasurer and Marketing Committee.

Fred Brown

Fred has been a teacher and coach for over 30 years. He began his teaching in Sheboygan County at Lightfoot School as the Physical Education instructor. While there, he coached Special Olympics and taught swimming. Since his retirement Fred continues to coach at Lakeland University and teach exercise classes at the Sports Core. Fred’s passion for working with others has been a major part of his personal and professional life. Fred is honored to be on the HearthStone board and works to advance the mission of the organization.

Debbie Chapman

Debbie was born and raised on a farm in Cedar Grove, WI and graduated with a music education degree from Hope College in Holland, MI. She has been in the financial industry for over 30 years, the last 16 years at Johnson Financial Group. Debbie enjoys crocheting, hiking, baking and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Annie Kress

Annie was born and raised in Sheboygan County. She is currently a mortgage lender at Johnson Bank and has been in the banking industry for 16 years. Annie loves getting involved in the community and has a true passion for helping others. She actively volunteers with her church, including the organization and facilitation of annual fundraising, record keeping, and annual reporting. Getting involved in HearthStone has been something she has wanted to do for a while, and felt like now was her time. She believes that her first event was so rewarding, and couldn’t wait to get more involved to share in all the smiles and laughter.

Kathy is a retired social worker with a combination of over 30 years of experience working primarily with adults with a developmental disability for RCS Empowers and then for Sheboygan County. She feels fortunate to serve as a volunteer guardian through Sheboygan County for a young man with a developmental disability. Being on the board of directors for Hearthstone allows her to continue directing her passion to improve the life of individuals with a disability and their families.

Jill, born and raised in Sheboygan, is married with three sons, and has a passion for volunteering and helping others. She currently works as an office Administrator at Edward Jones in Sheboygan. Jill has spent 25 years working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities through Sheboygan County Health and Human Services and the ADRC. Jill is part of HearthStone because community involvement and helping others makes her happy, and also the smiles, hugs, and thanks received from our young people at social outings is so heartfelt and rewarding in and of itself.

Gail and her husband, Eric Duncan, live in Sheboygan. Gail grew up in Plymouth and is a recently retired special education teacher after 31 years of teaching students with disabilities. Gail and Eric are proud parents of two adult children and love the Sheboygan community that they returned to 4 years ago. Gail is a dedicated advocate and believes in a society where people with disabilities are included, represented, and always respected for their talents.
